Outemu SKY is a series of Cherry MX clone switches envisioned by Reddit user /u/hbheroinbob. He has stated that his goal was "to make a versatile factory made ergo-clear alternative with a reasonable street price; and have all of the parts be interchangeable with the cherry-class ecosystem".
Improved on v2.1 by narrowing the stem post even more (to remove the need to retool the base) and improving the bump profile. It also added a cutout to the side of the stem.
A force-graph is a good way to help imagine how a switch might feel to the press. Many reputable manufacturers publish such graphs, either in their documentation or in their patents.

Stats and figures are one thing but here are some quotes, thoughts and opinions we've been able to find from across the web regarding these switches.
The feel of the switches reminded me most of BOX Navy. A tiny, tiny amount of pre-travel, then some resistance, and then a sharp, strong BUMP that leads to nearly bottoming out. And that's exactly what I wanted in a tactile switch, it felt just how I thought a tactile switch should feel.
In short – despite my misgivings, I absolutely LOVE LOVE this switch. I prefer these to Durock Koalas, which I got in last week after paying express shipping from China, and those cost 3 times what I paid for the Skies.
It is way better after modding! I like'em a lot more now!
This switch greatly benefits from being lubed. Krytox 205g0 or TriboSys 3204 would be good lube choices.
