Note. The first version of Gateron Blue Ink switches had minor issues with the leafs being loose and prone to falling out when dismantled. As of November 2019 that issue has been resolved.

Clicky switches, as the name suggests, make an audible click when activated. Those with a click jacket design only make a click noise on the way down. They have an internal sliding "collar" surrounding the stem that moves independently.
