Black Inks are a well loved linear switch in community. Smooth from stock due to the custom housing material and coated spring but especially smooth with a great sound after lubing.
Note. The first version of Gateron Black Ink switches had minor issues with the leafs being loose and prone to falling out when dismantled. As of November 2019 that issue has been resolved.
The same switch, but this variant has two rubber dampers underneath the stem.
Gateron Black Inks respond particularly well to being lubricated. Krytox 205 Grade 0 is a great choice for an extra smooth feeling switch.
Switchandclick.com – We used a thinner switch film from the Kebo Store and found that it allowed the switch to rest more firmly in the plate and reduce the overall wobble of the Gateron Ink Black switches.
